The Turkish Ambassador to Libya and the Mayor of Sahin Bey visited the municipality. They were received by the Mayor, members of the municipal council, the undersecretary of the municipal office, the board of directors and members of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.

A meeting was also held at the municipality office, where aspects of cooperation between the two countries were discussed and a twinning was signed between the municipality and the municipality of Shaheen Bey in the fields of economy, education and health. Souvenirs were presented in the end.

On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and visited the Asmarya Islamic University, the Athenium of Sheikh Abdul Salam Al-Asmar, the Al-Qishla building, Zliten Medical Center, Al-Dafna Food Complex and Al-Rateel Company for the manufacture of plastic pipes.

It is noteworthy that the Municipal Council visited during the month of September to the State of Turkey and the municipality of Şahin Bey to see the projects and how to conclude twinning between the two municipalities.
